Abstract

This study is the first to perform a focalized analysis on city development, sustainable urban planning, and the impact of slum area on the growth and development of real estate. Slums exist in almost every country in the world. However, in the process of urbanization and state development, researchers have focused merely on the crumbled infrastructure, Environment and other social problems associated with slums. There has been evolution of certain governmental policies for housing and up gradation of slums. The Articles mainly focuses on the housing policy development, the housing rights, the government agenda for housing and slums in India.
