Cyber Crime Phishing and it's Security Measures

With the advancement of technology, network communication has improved a lot in recent years. It has become a necessity whether it be the IT sector or Banking sector. It plays a major role in the development of Network Communication. There are many technologies available but none of the technologies are absolutely secured.1 This article focuses on electronic crimes. It involves frauds such as phishing. Phishing has become one of the most rampant forms of cybercrime. Phishers attempt to acquire personal information such as credit card details, passwords, etc. fraudulently using deceptive e-mails and websites. According to the latest research, 93 percent of phishing attacks specifically involving attempts to rob customers of financial services companies. This article aims to discuss the various ways by which phishing affects internet banking. It also focuses on the implementation of safety and security measures to be adopted to restrict such crimes.
