The 21st century has been characterised by massive technological innovations that have shaped the way people interact. The social, political, and economic dimensions of human life are facilitated by a digital age that has encompassed the entire world. The web is usually described as an exquisite tool, an enticing place and a liberating experience. But for whom? Universally, there has been a rapid rise within the use of electronic gadgets. These developments have led to significant growth in criminality, especially in digital crimes. There's the potential for several folks to become victims to the growing pool of criminals who skilfully navigate the online. With the advancement of technology, the way of conducting crime is becoming more sophisticated, complex and there had been a major change within the outlook of world in human perspective. Though crime against women is on an increase altogether fields being a victim of cybercrime may well be most traumatic experience for a women. With the intention of regulating criminal activities within the cyber world and protecting the technological advancement system, the Indian parliament approved the law on Technological Information, 2000. It absolutely was the primary global law of India to deal penalties and punishments regarding digital crimes. Research on cybercrime victimisation is comparatively diversified; however, no biblio- metric study has been found to introduce the panorama of this subject. Furthermore, this study aims to work out the worldwide collaborations and current gaps in research of cybercrime victimisation. This paper contributed an summary of scholarly status of cybercrime victimisation through statistical evidence and visual findings.
