Abstract

The Consumer Protection Act was established in the year 1986. With the increase in the globalization, the markets, businesses and trade practices began to grow. So, to protect the consumers from being exploited, this initiative was taken. If a person being as a consumer i.e. one who buys goods for consumption and not for the commercial or resale purpose, get exploited by unfair trade practices. He can approach to different tiers, namely, District Forum, State Commission, and National Commission established at different level for getting justice.
