Abstract

ABSTRACT

Nowadays every question has one answer, the internet. There is no door which is not knocked by the internet, the internet is like that drug which had everyone, you, me and someone who is right now discreetly watching my all activities, yes discreetly you read it right. On the internet, anybody who is capable enough to handle its analogies can hack your system to gather your valuable information or to empty your bank account. No one on this earth is safe from a cyber attack anybody can get attacked by these attackers anywhere, what they need is one good internet connection and one good computer which will empty your bank account in a fraction of seconds. There are many cases around the globe which shook the world and to control these attacks many countries laid down the legislation so that it could get further prevented but still there are many areas where we need to pay more attention rather than just talking. In my paper, I will be talking about cybersecurity, drawbacks or loopholes of Indian IT act 2000 & 2008 Amended, jurisdictional issue, prevention of cyber attacks.
