The main purpose of presenting this research work is to understand if
there is any need to revisit the basic structure theory and what was the
effect of parliament, judiciary, and executive on the constitution from
1947 till the date of my research work. What are the amendments
made in the past and types of judgement passed by the Supreme Court
to protect the fundamental rights and to protect the basic structure of
the Constitution? To understand how this basic structure theory
evolved in the Indian constitution which is not given in any article of the
Indian constitution.
