Abstract

There are laws present in India, to address discrimination faced by employees at workplace on the basis of their gender. In the year 2020 the legislature consolidated twenty-nine Central labour laws into four new labour codes. This essay analyses the provisions of the new labour codes aimed at achieving social justice and equity for the workforce, and contends that the policy fails to address the concern of gender inclusivity.
