Abstract

This phenomenon of migrant’s status is an important element from the international communities, regional and even national laws. The protection has gained great weight in the development and potentials in most countries especially those experience by African states particularly those in Cameroon, Chad and Gabon who considered foreigner movement and stay in the region as fundamental, making them to incorporate such protection in their national laws and legislation. The international standard has been put in place to ensure the effective implementation by states that are members and have ratified laws and convention to effectively respect them by guaranteeing equal rights for everyone residing within these States. Such protections even though stipulated by these states suffer violations and discrimination. So, in order to see whether the standard, rights and instruments that have been initiated to effectively protect and promote human right are implemented to the letter by these States, we will now analyse how Cameroon, Chad and Gabon . the situation of migrants and foreigner's movement has become so instrumental and fundamental for the wellbeing of the CEMAC economies, and even to those seeking refuge within the member States. Their stay and movement into these region has really encouraged high level of development and great impact, even though these migrants continues in facing aspect of violation on their fundamental human right. This paper is aimed at examining those benefits states of the CEMAC region will acquired in offering adequate protection to those entering its territory, and equally, the security these migrant incurred for taking resident in the State in question. Entering the States is one thing, acquiring protection is another. So, there is a need for states to offer at least minimum protection to those seeking refuge in its member states through the enactment of relevant laws and disposition.
