Abstract

This article looks at the laws that are meant to protect and help orphans and people with disabilities, two groups that are typically the most vulnerable in society. It looks at how child protection laws, disability rights, and social welfare policies all work together, and how gaps in execution can keep people on the outside of society. The talk is about getting access to education, healthcare, guardianship, inheritance rights, and protection from abuse and exploitation.
The article goes into more detail about national and international legal tools, focusing on how important it is for governments, NGOs, and communities to make sure they are followed. It advocates for a more comprehensive, rights-oriented framework that emphasises dignity, autonomy, and equitable opportunity. The essay seeks to enhance the system's fairness by pinpointing significant challenges and suggesting legislative and policy reforms that protect the rights and welfare of orphans and individuals with disabilities.
