Abstract

In an era of globalization where the whole world has became a global village, how law can remain unaffected. World is coming closer even in practicing rules and regulation by adopting global practices at individual country level. At such stage a new upcoming branch of law namely International Public Law is growing manifolds. But merely making of such law will not serve the ultimate purpose. The whole global world has to come closer by not only signing international treaties and conventions but they have to implement it at domestic level. The researcher has explored this very aspect of International Public Law i.e. domestic compliance of International Treaty Law and practices in special reference with India. Treaty law is one area where only little literature has been published in India. Hence, an area of Public International Law which needs to be unleashed.

                The researcher have tried to explore the meaning and concept of conventions, International treaties and agreements, kinds of treaties, Interface between international law and municipal law,

Implementation of international treaties in India, and last but not least Indian judiciary and international law. Finally, the researcher have concluded the whole research work and based on the above given suggestions to improve the domestic compliance of treaty law in India.
