Abstract

Kratom is an important tropical plant that has a possible medical usefulness. However, it can cause addiction in the user and classified as a narcotic. Kraom addiction is accepted as an additive substance disorder. Worldwide, kratom is usually controlled by narcotics drug laws. In the present day, the legalization of medical kratom is a new aspect. In Thailand, the medical kratom laws is launched and become the interesting issue for further discussion. In the present article, the authors discuss on the medical kratom, with special focus on the new perspective from Thailand.
