Abstract

The present review paper discusses the core reason behind the eight years old girl was raped and murdered at Kathua district of Jammu & Kashmir state in India. The review analyzes how it has led to communal problems and political conspiracy. Furthermore, the paper explores the exploitation of fundamental right to speech and expression by the media which has created distresses among the viewer resulting rallies within the country and the rest of the world, Jammu bands and the acceptance of the resignations of the ministers of the ruling parties by the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.  It gives the insight on the Indian Penal Court Sections to enhance the readers’ knowledge in order to understand the depth of the case and the hoax which, came into picture because of this crime. It also suggest the reader that spreading hoax though social media is a criminal offense. It suggests the court of law to check the activity of the media.
