The analysis of open prisons and its potential for rehabilitation, the open prison has been relatively recent development in terms of the evolution of the prison system. The aim of the open prison, the development of self respect and sense of responsibility as well as useful preparation for freedom. In open prison, the pattern of administration is based on trust, tolerance, truth and totality. Rehabilitation is the central goal of the correctional system. Prisoners in open prison are often given keys to their rooms, which increased dignity and instills a sense of responsibility. Open prison the offenders in a humane way to live dignified and peaceful lives after their release. This scheme is followed on the basics of humanism. The ultimate objectives of the prison and correctional administration is rehabilitation of offenders in the main stream of social life. Open jail has emerged as a major innovation in the progressive treatment and rehabilitation of incarcerated offenders. Rehabilitation of the offenders in law-abiding citizens, if often as the ultimate goal for incarceration. Prisoners were brought outside the jail but for the labour purpose only but totally different chance to prisoners to rehabilitate in the society. The research topic is about the evaluate based on the punishment of rehabilitation. Open prisons, system of Rajasthan fall among the best prison practices in the country. The study of the Rajasthan prisoners in open Air- camp and the different types of open prison in Rajasthan.
