Abstract

The Protection of the Human Rights, 1993 was passed by the parliament which leads to the constitution of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). The brief provisions of “The PHR-1993” and the role of the NHRC in the disposal of the cases with it latest annual report pertaining to 2017-18 has been discussed in this paper.
