This study explores the nature and prevalence of women’s sexual harassment in India, delving into the social, cultural, and systemic factors that contribute to its persistence. It also examines the legal framework and initiatives in place to address the problem. The study highlights the importance of raising awareness, fostering a supportive environment, and empowering women to combat sexual harassment. By analyzing available data, studies, and real-life incidents, this study sheds light on the urgent need for comprehensive measures to tackle this pressing societal concern. It emphasizes the significance of education, legal reforms, and cultural shifts in creating a safer and more equitable society for women in India. Furthermore, it highlights the role of various stakeholders, including government agencies, civil society organizations, and individuals, in collectively working towards eradicating women’s sexual harassment and fostering an environment that respects and protects the rights and dignity of all individuals.
