The Impact of Digital Economy on International Taxation: Challenges and Opportunities

The recent era burdened the digital economy and new challenges for the international tax system that was until then imposed upon tangible subjects. The strict current laws in some countries are as if it is the building trying its most to win income from the activity in the digital terrain and has set the laws from the foresight of the future and the social review, and erosion is what its regulations create. It also broadens the tax base, therefore, widens the leeway for tax evasion. This article pinpoints opportunities
for new reforms in this respect by adapting international tax policies to the realities of the digital economy and introduces a set of fairs, realistic, and innovative approaches. It also aims at raising more international cooperation, and consensus building and provides valuable insights for policy makers, tax authorities, and international organizations willing to address the intricacies of taxation in the digital economy.
