Abstract

This paper explores the growth and performance of Postal services and future opportunities and Legal Issues in India. The whole study of this paper is categorized in two parts: Part A Emerging Opportunity of the Postal Service Sector and Part B signifies the legal Issues of Postal service according to postal Service Act 1898.  All the data used for this survey is secondary data: In this article, the whole research is studied by taken of 100 sample size of a state Odissa. This is study is to reach at the core of saving decision and awareness of post office saving schemes of household investors. This paper also highlight on India Post Payments Bank, which was set up under the Department of Post with 100% equity owned by the government, faced difficulty in keeping its once loyal customer base intact, especially during the difficult transitory period when the small savers were lured by competition.
