Abstract

The Union Cabinet of India achieved a notable milestone on July 28th, 2020, with the endorsement of the National Education Policy (NEP), signifying a pivotal moment in the progression of the nation educational framework. This policy development involved thorough engagement, ranging from local village-level participants to national parliamentary committees, spanning more than 50 months of consultations and workshops. Nevertheless, there is an ongoing inquiry into the precise implementation of the recommendations into the policy. The 2020 New Education Policy signifies a significant advancement in the field of education, encompassing elements from primary to higher education in India. A thorough examination of every facet of the Indian education system is important in light of the 2021 reform of the system in mind. This research paper is dedicated to examining diverse domains of education within the NEP 2020, offering a thorough overview and insights into its potential influence on the evolution of the education system in India. One of the central pillars of NEP 2020 revolves around securing Universal Access throughout the entire spectrum of education, extending from pre-primary levels to Grade 12. This policy
aspires to position India as a formidable global knowledge superpower. This research aims to delve into the nuanced aspects of NEP 2020, seeking to provide a comprehensive exploration that adds depth to our comprehension of its ramifications for the educational terrain in the nation.
