Journal’s Summary
This is a peer reviewed research journal dealing with inventions, creations and other intellectual and intangible types of property. The term "intellectual property” is used in its general sense to describe: "A product of the intellect that has commercial value, including copyrighted property such as literary or artistic works and ideational property, such as patents, appellations of origin, business methods and industrial processes". It's a biannual journal (frequency January-June and July-December), started in 2018.

- Patent Law and Innovation Protection: Research on patentability, novelty, inventive step, industrial applicability, patent prosecution, ownership, licensing, compulsory licensing, infringement, remedies, patent term, and the legal protection of technological innovation.
- Copyright and Creative Works: Studies on copyright protection, authorship, ownership, registration, licensing, infringement, fair dealing, exceptions and limitations, digital reproduction, collective management, and the protection of literary, artistic, musical, audiovisual, software, and other creative works.
- Trademark Law and Brand Protection: Research on trademark registration, classification, distinctiveness, passing off, infringement, dilution, deceptive similarity, well-known marks, domain names, brand protection, and enforcement of trademark rights.
- Trade Secrets and Confidential Information: Studies on the protection of trade secrets, confidential business information, non-disclosure agreements, breach of confidence, employee obligations, misappropriation, contractual safeguards, and remedies for unauthorized disclosure or use.
- Industrial Designs and Design Protection: Research on registration, ownership, infringement, enforcement, commercialization, and international protection of industrial designs, including the relationship between design rights, copyright, patents, and trademarks.
- Geographical Indications and Traditional Products: Studies on the protection, registration, enforcement, and commercialization of geographical indications, including agricultural goods, handicrafts, traditional products, regional reputation, producer rights, and conflicts with trademarks.
- Intellectual Property Licensing and Technology Transfer: Research on patent, copyright, trademark, software, and technology licensing; assignment; franchising; research collaborations; commercialization; royalty arrangements; university technology transfer; and contractual management of intellectual property.
- Digital Intellectual Property and Emerging Technologies: Studies on intellectual property issues arising from artificial intelligence, machine-generated content, blockchain, digital platforms, software, databases, virtual environments, 3D printing, and other emerging technologies.
- Intellectual Property Enforcement and Dispute Resolution: Research on civil and criminal remedies, injunctions, damages, border enforcement, customs measures, administrative proceedings, litigation, arbitration, mediation, and other mechanisms for resolving intellectual property disputes.
- International and Comparative Intellectual Property Law: Studies on TRIPS, WIPO-administered treaties, the Patent Cooperation Treaty, Madrid and Hague systems, international copyright frameworks, cross-border enforcement, and comparative approaches to intellectual property protection.
- Intellectual Property, Competition, and Market Regulation: Research on the interaction between intellectual property and competition law, including licensing restraints, standard-essential patents, FRAND obligations, abuse of dominance, patent pools, market access, and anti-competitive use of intellectual property rights.
- Intellectual Property and Public Interest: Studies on the relationship between intellectual property protection and public health, access to medicines, education, research, food security, environmental sustainability, technology access, and broader public-interest considerations.
- Traditional Knowledge, Cultural Expressions, and Biodiversity: Research on the legal protection of traditional knowledge, traditional cultural expressions, indigenous innovation, genetic resources, biodiversity-related intellectual property, benefit sharing, biopiracy, and community rights.
- Intellectual Property Commercialization and Valuation: Studies on IP management, valuation, portfolio strategy, commercialization, securitization, due diligence, intellectual-property audits, startup innovation, investment, and the role of intangible assets in business and economic development.
- Patent Information and Intellectual Property Analytics: Research on patent databases, prior-art searching, patent landscaping, citation analysis, freedom-to-operate studies, intellectual-property analytics, technology intelligence, and the use of patent information in research and innovation strategy.
- Indian Intellectual Property Law and Policy: Research on Indian patent, copyright, trademark, design, geographical indication, trade-secret, and related intellectual property laws, including legislative developments, judicial decisions, administrative practice, and policy reforms. Comparative and interdisciplinary work is welcome where intellectual property law is a central component of the research.

Submission of Paper:
All contributions to the journal are rigorously refereed and are selected on the basis of quality and originality of the work. The journal publishes the most significant new research papers or any other original contribution in the form of reviews and reports on new concepts in all areas pertaining to its focus and scope, thus ensuring its scientific priority and significance.

Peer Reviewed Policy:
Peer review is the most important part of the scientific publication process. Peer review is basically the process of engaging experts to review the articles submitted for publication in journals, this is done in order to validate the research and to enhance the quality of the articles that are published in the journal.
The peer review process is actually a demarcating line that decides what a research is and what is merely a hypothesis. This process screens the articles for their originality or work, their relevance to the previously published work and does the work meet the required standard so as to be published as a research article. The bottom line to conduct a peer review is to eliminate the possibility that science is just another opinion.
Basic design of a peer review process:
1) The process begins with the submission of article to the journal
2) The first step begins as the editor of the journal checks if the article falls under the focus and scope of the journal. If the article does not fall under the focus and scope of the journal it is rejected with feedback and necessary changes to the author, if the article do fall under the focus and scope of the journal it is forwarded to the next step of review.
3) Here the reviewer checks for the originality, validity, significance, theory , evidence and other parameters based on the guidelines of the editors and yardsticks to measure the quality of the article.
4) Reviewer then make necessary comments and send the paper back to the editorial board, a reviewer may accept the paper as it is, reject or suggest changes in the manuscript, this information is conveyed to the authors
5) Editor of the journal then make final decision to publish the article based on the reviewers comments. And finalize the time frame for publishing the article.
6) Finally the accepted articles appear in the publication.
