It is essential to comprehend these meteorological phenomena and use tactics to alleviate their effects if we want to protect our health from excessive heat. An protracted stretch of abnormally hot weather, usually spanning many days or even weeks, is referred to as a heat wave. It is distinguished by temperatures that are significantly higher than typical for that time of year in a particular place. High humidity is a common feature of heat waves, which increases the hazards associated with the heat.
