Procedural Aspects of Rights Issued and Public Issue of Shares

Abstract

There are various ways to issue a share and two of the ways are a public issue and right issue. This paper talks about the procedure of issue under public issue and rights issued. It provides a detailed description of the basic norms to be followed for the public issue and rights issues and the formalities for the rights issued that has to be followed. The later part of the paper focuses on the changing norms proposed by the SEBI and the investor's risk for the rights issued.
