Abstract

The corporate sector in India underwent substantial changes as a result of economic reforms, which led to a sharp increase in merger and acquisition activity there. In India, both domestic and international M&A’s have increased as a result of changing governmental regulations and the sector's increasing complexity. Because of this, the current study adopts a fresh approach while reviewing earlier research that was done by different authors to evaluate M&As in India. We are collectively conscious of the transformative impact that COVID-19 has had on global perspectives and daily lifestyles. The researcher discusses numerous M&A laws and philosophies in this article. The covid had an impact on every industry. One of the exceptions was the pharmaceutical industry, which displayed excellent development potential. The piece also looks at M&A across different industries. It is also
crucial to understand how covid has affected market M&A activities. We would need to understand the obvious distinction between the two before we could achieve it. In recent years, mergers and acquisitions have become a prevalent strategy for achieving company growth through non-organic means. This approach is frequently utilized to reconfigure corporate setups. Companies engage in mergers and acquisitions primarily to advance their strategic business objectives, with a predominant
focus on financial aspects.
