Abstract

Information technology (IT) is one of the important factors helping a firm enter a new market since it fosters innovation, and results in new products and services that support the expansion of the business and company. The tremendous advancements are made possible by the internet and IT revolution. The efficiency of the economy in the business sector makes it easier for businesses worldwide to conduct business by facilitating information exchanges via the internet and smart gadgets. This study aims to analyse how IT affects business and economic performance. The empirical results demonstrate how important IT is to company.
