Female Genital Mutilation Violation of Fundamental Rights

Abstract

Female genital mutilation is a procedure where the female genitals are deliberately cut, injured or changed, but where there's no medical reason for this to be done [1]. Female genital mutilation is practiced in India by some Islamic groups. The procedure is generally performed when a girl is eight years old and involves the total or partial removal of the clitoral hood. Consequences of female genital mutation may range from discomfort to sepsis. In other it is a crime to deliberately hamper the privacy of the female and it is there fundamental right how to keep their body in international level there are a lot of the of country who make it illegal thus in India a government should make a provision relating to make  a female genital mutation performance as criminal activity. In the name of religion no one has right to hamper the privacy or violate the fundamental right of the individual.
