Abstract

Urbanization is accelerating, placing unprecedented pressure on resources and infrastructure. Smart and sustainable urban planning emerges as a critical response to creating cities that are not only resilient but also environmentally conscious and livable. Energy efficiency in real estate is a key component of sustainable development. A robust regulatory framework is essential to guide real
estate developers, urban planners, and policymakers towards sustainable practices. The innovations play a crucial role in the development of smart cities, where real-time data facilitates efficient resource management. The urban landscape is evolving rapidly, necessitating innovative approaches to address the challenges of climate change, resource depletion, and urbanization. This delineates a robust regulatory framework that not only facilitates the integration of energy-efficient mechanisms into real estate projects but also aligns with the principles of smart and sustainable urban planning. The analysis concerning emerging technologies and design strategies that promote energy efficiency in real estate explores potential benefits and challenges. Additionally, the paper investigates strategies for incorporating energy-efficient mechanisms within the broader context of smart and sustainable urban planning, emphasizing the role of technology, data-driven decision-making, and community engagement. The paper focuses on establishing a comprehensive regulatory framework that promotes futuristic growth in urban environments. By examining the intersection of real estate, energy efficiency, and urban planning, this research seeks to identify key strategies and policies that
can facilitate sustainable development in smart cities.
