Abstract

In the recent years, crowdfunding has emerged as a popular tool for fundraising, helping to
convert customers into investors, who can provide funds for the business. Hence, crowdfunding
is a new mechanism of fundraising, which provides an innovative method to bridge the gap
between investor and fund-seeker and has both economic and social implications. The research
aims to analyse, study and interpret the new emerging concept of crowdfunding, and to
understand the manner in which it is compatible with the conventional financial methods used
by various business enterprises. The present study helps to recognize a new emerging shape for
the crowdfunding, a structure which allows to take advantage of the traditional limits of funds
of investment. Hence, both the capability to attract a large number of investors and the social
impact of the project represents the importance of the crowdfunding.
